As sad as it is true.

If only we had a functioning SCOTUS to deal with rogue states like Texass.

An awful (and I use the word thoughtfully) lot of cartoons are making this point. But the REAL problem is SCOTUS.

No Trump Disciple comments about what a great law that was brought to you by the Texas Taliban and the Republican* Supreme Court?

Funny how the Texas Taliban is so concerned about reproductive rights but is seeing increasing numbers of children getting COVID from unwillingness to take the most elementary measures to protect the kids.

All any rational person has to do is read a factual History of Texas to see why that state is messed up.

See a doctor for a head cold, get sued for $10,000. Plus court costs. Plus your own legal fees.

We should have let them go with the rest of the sh**hole states in 1861 and we would not have to put up with all this stupid male bovine excrement all the time.

Why is it the people screaming about wanting a smaller government, go out of their way to make it bigger and more infringing on the average Joe/JoAnn American?

On a side note, I think their new gun law is so that all the white supremacists can continue to buy and carry guns, even after they commit felonies that take away that right.

Nothing good will come of either of these abusive abortion laws. The rich will continue to fly their children, mistresses, and wives to France and Israel to get safe abortions, even past the first trimester if they desire. The middle class, upper and lower, will be able to drive to another state if needed. The poor, will be just be left out, and likely get calls from collectors for the rest of their lives, whether they got an abortion or not. All, because some self righteous idiot bully will have a little fun getting a little money ruining someone else’s life.

Anyone who supports a party, like the Republican Party as it is in the present and seemingly going into the future, is not to be trusted to take care of a pet rock.

I would bet that major corporations (and their CEOs) are having second thoughts about relocating to Texas from somewhere else.
