You can still read a book...and you have a fine wife who loves you. Quit snivelling about the things you can't do anymore and be grateful for the things you can! “Not as bad off as some chaps half your age”? If Gramps is 80, half his age would be 40 - most 40-year-olds don’t need a cane to walk. Just saying. But a lot of truth in the last 3 frames.
