Reminds me when the Cleveland Indians lost the World Series because of the 2nd baseman let the ball go right through his legs and that was that! BOO HISS. The pitcher who was supposed to close out the game didn’t!

Actually, this would be a literal GROUND RULE double, not unlike a ball stuck in the ivy in Wrigley.
You can tell this is make believe – a real ball player wouldn’t be “thinking” those kind of words; he’d be yelling them!
The grounds keeper was trying supplement his meager income by growing weed.
At least the ball wasn’t swallowed by a pig. Otherwise it would have been ruled an Inside The Pork Home Run! Ducking!
