Got a call from my bank supposedly on the caller id. Answered, they said is this “my name” and I said YES. Then nothing. I panicked. They want the “Yes” to use for ID theft. I called the bank’s cust service and froze accts. Then I thought about it and checked the Caller ID number and it was a local branch. They had called and we were cut off and she didn’t want to bother me by calling back!! Sheesh. The clinker is I want to close my accts to move to another bank soon. That should be a lot of fun now!!
The last time the “IRS” called me “they” told me I would be arrested if I didn’t pay up right now! I replied, “send the sheriff, I need the vacation!” For some reason they hung up on me.
I love the fact that these scammers are getting a little back of what they give. There are several people on YouTube, like “Scammer Payback” that are turning the tables! Much love!
