Our state has retroactively started a lottery. Get vaccinated on or before the June-something deadline and they will automatically enter you for a chance to win $1M or several chances to win considerably less. This includes folks who pushed hard to get theirs as soon as it was allowed, so I’m entered. Woo. Hoo. (But I wouldn’t turn it down.)
So here we have it. Some of the Trumplicans, who are so dead set against “socialism,” at least what they think it means in their view, are lining up for a chance to win big off the government dime.
How sad is it that you have to actually BRIBE people to do something that is actually good for themselves and others, and takes all of a few minutes out of their day???
