“Economy” is a very odd thing. Like “money”, the more you have of it, the more there is… and vice versa. I agree that we need to get to world-wide herd immunity, ASAP to escape from the ravages of ever more potent variants, before we can expect to see our mutual prosperity (on average) increase.
