There ARE people who are willing to literally die (and kill others) for the sake of their beliefs. When those people are soldiers and their beliefs are true — and when we ARE truly in need of such sacrifice — that is a very good thing for society. When, as here, they are dying and killing for a prejudice and lie, it is a very bad thing indeed.
