The amount of bravery from the people of Myanmar standing up for their rights and freedoms in the face of a brutal and uncaring military is incredible and heartbreaking with the death toll mounting. Watching a military brutalize and slaughter the very people they should be protecting, even killing people in their homes and children playing is heartbreaking.

At least 739 people have been killed so far as Myanmar’s military continues to use brutal methods to quell anti-coup protests, a local monitoring group said late on Wednesday.

One more person was killed in Myaung Township in Sagaing Region on Tuesday, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) said in its latest update.

As of April 21, a total of 3,331 people remain under detention, with 76 of them having been sentenced.

Those poor people are caught between home grown sadistic murderers and a world of people who rightfully don’t want to start the next world war. Good thing they’re not whites, eh, Republikkklansmen?
