I have to admit, texting makes it so easy to keep in touch now across long distances and even across oceans. And is great for times when you just can’t stop what you are doing right at that moment, like you have to do for a phone call. Plus, there’s pictures. My kids and I text every day. When I was little, long distance charges for phone calls meant calls didn’t happen every day, especially those from overseas.
