We have a very fine snow fall going. Gotta check the calendar, I did say May? Right?
Uh huh, It is May, there is snow, we are hanging in at 34 looking for a high of 49 and cloudy. That sound you might be hearing should be my teeth chattering. (^.^)
Did my weekly shopping yesterday so, I get that rarest of the rare Saturdays at home all day. (^.^)
Well, I got a lot to do (ha, ha). To all y’all a beautiful day and may the Lord walk it with you.
Yes we reached 100 yesterday. When I went to bed last night it was still 85. Sigh. I guess summer is here. Today’s forecast is “only” for 96 but we’re already over 80.
I heard from the doctor yesterday. My radiation treatments are scheduled to start on Monday, so here we go. It might get delayed because the incision has split open again. It’s just a tiny hole but yesterday was a messy day. The doctor told me once before that they don’t like to do radiation when there is an open incision because things might change. We’ll see on Monday.
I finally took the painting I did of the avatar photo to a framer yesterday. The clerk gave me a huge discount using a coupon from their website. The original cost was over $400 and the coupon brought it down to $175 including tax. It has to be mounted on a stretcher and then the frame added. I can’t wait to see it hanging in my living room.
The schedule for today is a trip over to storage to get the spoon racks. We are replacing all of the Coke memorabilia with the collectors spoons. Michael is still angry at Coca-Cola. (It’s been fun finding things to replace the everyday items with the Coke logo – salt & pepper, sugar dispenser, napkin holder, etc.)
It’s supposed to reach 68 today. Yesterday did get up to 80. Wow. It was great smelling all that fresh air and actually hearing the birds sing. It was grand.
