Road Trip, Day 3 was completed on Wednesday/Saturday 3 with a total distance over 3 days of just under 1400 miles. I drove the whole distance because I love to drive and my friend doesn’t. Spent most of today, Thursday/Saturday 4, running errands and I was again the driver. This time, however I was driving the Mercedes SL 550 (with the retractable hard top down) instead of a Uhaul truck towing the Mercedes. While it was 78 degrees here it was cold back home with snow and freezing rain. The discussion about my friend’s return trip North in mid May led to a plan where he will get me a plane ticket to fly back down and drive the Mercedes back to Oregon. It’s going to be a two day trip and one heck of a ride!
