Biden’s a pro. He understands exactly how ponderous the federal bureaucracy is, and how long it takes to plan, even cursorily, manage and execute even simple wide-spread plans. much less more complex ones. He expects “zero to movement” to take weeks. Which is why he started hiring other pros as soon as the election was “probably” his, and why they’ve been working on plans and ramping up managers even before the inauguration.

The grownups are in charge now. And at least they’re trying instead of just swanning around and collecting their paychecks.

As inept as the trump administration is I’m still amazed they literally did not have a plan for getting the vaccine to the people.

Trump NEVER got out of “PARK” with his WARP SPEED vehicle. Didn’t even have a road map. Some say he did actually shift into “REVERSE”.

Joe hit the ground running, but it’s hard running when the slime is so deep.

That’s what you get when you get a car from a guy that emptied the tank and removed the battery.

We’ll get there, now that there’s an adult at the wheel.

The reason I turned down the job, you can’t drive anymore. Security reasons. That was a real deal breaker, for me.

I was gonna ask Jacinda Ardern to be my V.P.

The only part of any plan trump was interested in was how much he could personally benefit.. either to make him look good or, mostly.. how much cash could he divert to his own piggy bank.

Dems = Drive Repubs = reverse

Maybe he won’t spin the wheels and will actually get moving.

“Op. Warp Speed” is Trump’s idea not Biden’s.

I don’t believe Biden is doing ‘warp speed’. That was the previous fellow’s thing, and as the ’toon implies, it never got out of neutral. Biden has had traction for some time, as stated previously here by Concretionist.

Trump never even got in the car.

At least we have a new Secretary of Transportation.
