I had a high school student submit a paper that was taken directly from the internet, in an honors class, no less. When I called him on it, he told me that he misunderstood the assignment. I told him I was laughing at him, not with him.
Eventually, everyone has to learn that they, too, must follow rules and obey instructions from teachers/employers if they want to pass/get paid. Zack (hopefully) is learning this fairly young.
