It’s 21 right now. and we’ll reach 42 by the end of the day. Hooray! And there’s a 20% chance of the “S” word tomorrow around 11 p.m. 20% translates to about 0%, which is fine by me.
I haven’t even thought about decorating the house yet. We watched our first Christmas movie Thanksgiving night: “Miracle on 34th Street”. That’s been an old tradition with us. Now it’s time to drag out The Bishop’s Wife and Holiday Inn and Going My Way and of course, we save White Christmas for Christmas Eve.
I did not attend church in person this morning. I watched it online instead. Michael has a bit of a head cold and I felt it was better to err on the side of caution. I did take communion with everyone though, with my own cracker and juice.
Sting is in an unusually clingy, cuddly mood this morning. He wants all my attention and how dare I be working with the computer. Harumph.
We’re at 56 this morning, looking forward to 62. Not too bad if you wear long sleeves.
