I have a neighbor who is a real clean-freak. She has the outside of her house power washed twice year and the windows and carpet done more often. One morning I heard some vacuum type noise really loud ~~ she was vacuuming the pine needles underneath her tree.
We finally broke down and bought a place at Oak Island a few years ago. Before that we had a place where we stayed so much the owner actually had given us a key. Across from that house was a man and woman we got to be friends with who live there year round. The man literally manicured their place! I used to pick at him about getting out in his yard with a comb and scissors. You have never seen anything so immaculate!

Isn’t that the truth. I sometimes miss my house, but I have a great apartment now and all I have to do is call “Maintenance”.

Houses are nice to live in, but they are a lot of work and money.
