This first arc is so strange, like Cho hadn’t found his footing yet. Frank here is much more forceful, actually ASKS OUT BRANDY, and then they go on a date… it really makes the whole rest of the strip’s “Oh woe is me- Brandy will never go out with me and I can’t share my feelings” thing look odd. They later have to explain it like “Oh well the date went poorly so Frank is afraid to try again”.
The sister of my first college roommate needed a date to a dance since her boyfriend was out of town. I’m 5’7" and she was 6’3". I really enjoyed the close dances.
