How about Moving on Up, Archy Bunker, Jack Benny was forced to change Rodchesters part (to this day I can still hear Jack say, “Oh, Rodchester.” and his response, “Yes, Sir. Boss.”) those were good days. Boston Blackie, Green Hornet, The Shadow…then there were the westerns. Radio was great. It challenged your imagination. It didn’t spoon feed you, you had to see the action in your mind. Kinda like reading a book. If you have a good author, the books are better than the movies.
