Is it my fault if I put my coffee cup on the floor, and she steals a few sips?

You really think you can drink enough coffee to literally climb the walls, Plods?

I think what happened is he used ground coffee instead of cat food in the cat’s bowl. The cat ate the whole bowl full of coffee, which would translate into a gazillion mg of caffeine for the poor cat.

I thought the caffeine in the coffee would be like poison for the cat.

Could be. Caffeine is a poison, just not a very strong one in normal use. LD50 is @ 200 mg per kilogram of body weight.

Kitten or very small cat could get from one or two cups of coffee
