Trump wants all the little kiddies to go back to school – not for the sake of their education, but so that their parents can go back to work, and get “his” economy going again so that his numbers will look “good enough” to get him reelected!

Our schools CANNOT REOPEN until the covid-19 coronavirus is controlled!

Go back to the C.D.C. guidelines in March for reopening the country – that is the safe procedure for reopening schools! We need a decrease of Covid-19 cases over a TWO WEEK PERIOD – that’s 14 days of constant declines in the number of cases, just in case you can’t read a calendar.

After 14 days of declining cases, EVERY SCHOOL has to establish a way to test EACH STUDENT at least daily for the virus and the test results MUST be delivered in a TIMELY MANNER – less than a day (preferably within hours).

Along with the above-mentioned testing, there MUST BE an adequate system of "contact tracing set up and in place, and a way to isolate those individuals who test positive for up to two weeks.

I think everybody can see that establishing such a series of steps is impossible here in America, so practically, we need to wait for an adequate and tested vaccine to be developed and distributed, which means schools can possibly reopen sometime in 2021! Maybe.

Incidentally, what I’ve just outlined is what the “first world” country of China did to control the outbreak within its borders – I really don’t see the ever more “undeveloping” country of the United States of having the similar ability to control it virus outbreak in its schools on a national level – we are an ever-developing “third world” country and no longer have the ability to react “nationally” to any threat.

Some pain now, or a much worse pain later on. The Republicans will opt for later on, somebody else may be in office then.

The “divide” (really deprivation) is classism at its most vicious.
