    Good morning Vagabonds

Some T-storms last night about the time I gave up watching YouTube, my sister told me she saw lighting and heard some rumbles in the middle of the night. Sunny day, high low 80s.

The primary went smooth yesterday, although the count won’t complete until the towns in the Kingdom have counted the ballets, by hand, no machines. Not as easy to tamper with people (has been done) as it is to tamper with a machine or the mail.

A story my dad told me of my grand dad when he was a boy. He and a friend had been visiting some folks who liked to tell scary stories late in to the night, this was one of those times. These folks even scared themselves, as grandpa and his friend stepped on to the porch the door was locked behind them. As grandpa and friend were walking across the lawn a deep voice came out of the darkness, “Howdy Boys, Howdy”. I’ve always had visions of them dashing back to the house and banging on the door. The fellow was looking for directions as I understand it.

To all y’all a grand day and may God be at your side.

    Good Sunny morning, Vagabonds,

’Twas 89 yesterday, and only forecast for 82 today because the clouds will roll in around 4 p.m.

Stargazing was incredible last night. It finally got dark enough around 10:30. For about an hour, we saw 7 satellites, and 23 meteorites! Glad we don’t have close neighbors, because these guys shoot out so fast (and some are furious). The surprise element is such fun. Don’t think we’ll get to see anymore tonight. For the next few weeks the show will still be in town. But once we hit the peak, it won’t be as plentiful. But it was gorgeous!

    Stay cool. xoxo Happy Trails.

p.s. ………….has anyone heard from Chris lately? I hope they’re okay.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, no. Nothing from Chris lately.

Same old, same old around here. It’s Wednesday so it’s laundry day. I just finished the first load and then realized I had not put any soap or anything else in the washer with the clothes, so I am now an hour behind while I redo that first load.

Other than that little excitement, we have nothing on the agenda today except a rousing game of World of Warcraft (Classic).

Still in the hundreds during the day and eighties at night. The next few days are a warming trend, back into the one-teens.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day.

@ JAN C- Thanks for posting this in your Reply to me yesterday. I wasn’t aware of this.

GoComics carries the English version of Mutt & Jeff, but it runs a day behind this one. Today’s strip on M&J is yesterday’s from ByE. And the Sunday strip on M&J is from three Sundays ago here on ByE.
