    Hay there Vagabonds

Rather a darkish morning here. The forecast claims (^.^) cloudy skies early (check) partial clearing later (we’ll see). A stray shower or T-storm possible. Predicted high 80.

Well the political ads on TV are thick and annoying, so thick that my sister is muting them. Also that which I call political mushrooms are sprouting on lawns allover creation, vote for this guy, vote that gal. (shee) It may have been the last election a fellow I know had a string of these political signs (mushrooms), I told him he needed one more sign, BURMA SHAVE. (^.^)

The sun’ll come out tomorrow, it’s the primary for state office. (PTL)

Let me get away from the politics, makes me crazy.

May all y’all have a wonerful day and may God bless you day.

    Good Sunny morning, Vagabonds,

It got all the way up to 80 yesterday, with 87 in today’s future. It was warm enough to sit out for our stargazing adventure last night. The Perseid Meteor Shower graced us with a great show, and it isn’t even the peak yet. There were 8 Satellites and 7 Shooting Stars. Some of them left really long trails as they entered the atmosphere.

Nothing big on the agenda today. As always, I’ll get all the active stuff done early in the day so I can sit in front of the fan and read later.

    xoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Off to the vet with Sting this morning for his final shot. He’s a pretty good traveler, so we should be okay. He even likes his carrier. It has a really soft cushion in it and he sits in it at home sometimes.

We will try again for the recycling center today after the vet (we got lazy last week). It is amazing how much you collect in a month.

About those Burma Shave signs: They stopped putting them up in 1963, and they are collector’s items these days. Reminisce Magazine started in the 90’s to put up similar signs in honor of the Burma Shave ones. They chose one small town in each of the 50 states (chosen from submissions from readers) and contracted with someone in the area to put the signs on their property. I thought it was a great gesture, but never got to see them. The one in CA was too far away for a day trip.

Yesterday got up to 104 on our patio (102 at McCarran) and 78 last night. I still have the patio doors open this morning for fresh air, but will close them up soon as the heat is rising quickly. It is supposed to be 105 today and 78 tonight.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day.
