The sun is rising on is predicted to be a sunny day, mostly sun in the morning and increasing clouds in the afternoon, maybe a pop up shower here and there. (^.^)
Our morning weather guy Gary, who is normally weekdays only (weekend guy absent) had an interesting note, today is 8/08, the time of sunrise is 8:08 and the average temperature for today is 80.8 degrees. Only our Gary.
I’m making the grocery run this morning looking for what I hope will be good to eat. Nuttin else happening.

Good news: Michael does not have glaucoma. So he is facing cataract surgery with a faint heart and trepidation. As for me, if and when I ever face it, I will do so gladly as long as they give me a general anesthetic. I am absolutely paranoid about anything resembling a needle or blade coming near my eyes where I can see it. That’s why I would never consider lasik surgery. They don’t let you sleep, you have to watch.
The kitten his playing his version of chess at the moment. He knocks over the pieces and then rolls them around on the credenza until they fall on the floor. I guess he scores by how many pieces he can knock on the floor and how hard it is for me to retrieve them.
I’m off to get my nails done later this morning. That will probably be the highlight of my day (other than visiting ByE!).
It got down to 77 on my patio last night, so Michael and I went for a walk this morning before it got too hot. I feel better for the exercise. Today’s high is supposed to be 103, but the overnight will still be in the mid 70’s.
Yep. We’ve been married for 56 years!!! WooHoo!! Because of Covid we will be celebrating at home. And, as usual we’ll be facetiming everybody. Love it.
