Another reminder that this is an old strip – this issue probably wouldn’t even come up these days.

So unhealthy! Even though my hubby smokes, he has never smoked in the house!

I’ve always found pipe tobacco far different smelling than cigarette smoke… grandpa smoked a pipe, the air was sweet.. and he only smoked it rarely inside…

I think it’s what you’re used to. My mom used to smoke in the house (occasionally when my sister and I weren’t around – yes, not great, but not the worst) and my grandpa smoked a pipe. I liked the cigarette smoke (to a point), but I thought my grandpa’s house stunk.

Smokers can be so inconsiderate to those around them sometimes! Kill yourself if you want to . . . but please, don’t take me with you!!!!! :-(

I understand these are old strips but criminey, this is a little aggravating how old fashioned he is. He makes Andy Capp look like a fairly decent guy. Call the strip vintage.

My X evenually died of lung cancer (way after the divorce) and he smoked a lot- It was much worse at work back in those days (try a closed conference room looking over plans while most co-workers smoked). They were the men & bosses.
