^ kreole wondered: ”800 year old right? Wha ?” Magna Carta, 1215. Ok, so he rounded up from 796 and a couple of months. Runnymede is only a few miles from me. Hmmm, it’s going to be a nice sunny day, I have the day off, I think I shall dump the comics today & cycle over there.

Put them on a US military transport and bus them to a federal max.

If the president had true cojones, he’d threaten to pardon any prisoner that Congress doesn’t allow him to move to the USA.

    “The Main Reason Given”…

that, and right-wing sewn fear of spooky muslims being right here, in ‘merka right next to granny! How can we possibly have fair trials by juries of citizens? Nope, let’s just leave it to the military. It’s War, after all.

Even though the crimes of 9-11 were a strike against the U.S. government by fanatical murderers, they were also commited, by and large, on private U.S. citizens. Where is our voice? When is it New York City’s turn to render a verdict on this heinous crime?

No money to pay for it? That’s RICH!!

Somehow, I can’t see any trial held in New York returning a verdict of “Not Guilty” to anyone. Is that a fair trial? As for Ted, where is it a given that a Military trial would be a “Kangaroo Court”?

Gitmo may not be better than San Quentin in any other way, but if you want to hold random Afghan goatherds forever without charges & without evidence, it is “out of sight.”

Maybe Rall wants to have the Gitmo detainees tried in a British court? That sounds like a great idea! Let’s ship all the detainees to Britain now!!

^ Not sure why you’re bringing the British into this but I suppose Diego Garcia would fit the bill instead. Oh, wait, they have before. There you go then.
