I have four dogs, two are deaf, one doesn´t care but the Borzoi cross wants to be as close as possible – a 70lb dog on your lap is a touch distracting.
Here in Daytona Beach, they seem to celebrate the 4th for about 2 weeks… my 3 kitties hide under the bed for the duration… from about 3:00 pm to well after midnight, BOOM, BOOM, BANG, BOOM BANG… you get the idea!
A friend just called about an hour ago. His wife is the type that likes to call the police for everything. She called the police about some people shooting off fire works near her house tonight. Well he lives in a way back in the woods kind of place in SC. Well the police showed up and drove around the area for a little while. Well after they left who ever was doing the fire works stepped it up a few notches. He said he heard weapons fire and see green tracers. His wife went to call the police again but he took the phone from her when the whole area was shaken by what he says must have been dynamite or something. He told me he took her phone and told her if she called the police again he was leaving for the night. Sorry for the long post. I am not good at making things short.
