    Good morning Vagabonds

Rather overcast this morning and a little cool, around 60. The forecast is cloudy with some sun. High 73.

My Sunday will go about the same as always, church and dinner then TV zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. How about you. (^.^)

Have a sweet day guys and gals and may God travel with you always.

    Good morning, Vagabond friends…

Today there is a Classic Mutt & Jeff strip under just Bud Fisher’s name. Benitin (Jeff) is very nervous about heights and gets dizzy looking down from a height. So he says he’s going to ski down the mountainside backwards. He tells Mutt, he doesn’t want to see where he’s going…he just wants to see where he’s been. After the inevitable crash, the doctor says Jeff is OK. Except the doc can’t turn Jeff’s head back to it’s proper position (note the direction of Jeff’s feet). Not to worry…I’m sure he’ll be OK for tomorrow’s strip!

It’s 81 degrees here at 7:00 am, heading for the high 80s later today. If I want to walk outside this a.m., I need to get going…so “bye.”

    Good comfortable morning, Vagabonds,

It was 85 yesterday and only supposed to get up to 80 today. I’ve gotten back in the swing of walking short distances again. I still have to use the walker because of the uneven surfaces. And it helps that it has a seat so I can rest now and then.

Nothing going on today. Just our regular day here on the mountains.

    xoxo Happy Trails

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

My car got assaulted in the parking lot today. The front left fender is all scraped up like someone made a turn too tight in front of me. It makes me so angry that folks won’t own up to their mistakes and leave insurance information. (Yes, I checked the posts next to where we park at home and there is no damage on them at all, so it wasn’t us that did it. Besides I would remember it if I did and so would Michael.) Lord, help me to forgive and just get on with the repairs.

Other than that, I had a great morning. Church was great and I had breakfast with my two friends for the first time in a month. One of them has been in Oregon and the other one and I just couldn’t seem to make our schedules click. I also got a bit of shopping done so we’re set for the week.

I fixed Michael’s favorite mask with a pair of collar stays like I did mine, and they work well to keep the fabric away from the mouth and nose. That air space inside the mask makes all the difference.

Yesterday got up to 104 at McCarran and is 106 already today. Our heat doesn’t peak until between 4 and 5 o’clock, so we’ll see how warm it gets. It is still staying in the mid 70’s at night and that’s such a blessing.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed Sunday.
