Bad cops aren’t exclusively racist. We had a city cop a decade or so ago who was all kinds of commended for his case closure rate, conviction rate, etc. Then it turned out he was faking the evidence. A significant fraction of his wrongful arrests and the subsequent convictions were college students (it’s a college town).

Meanwhile, back in a bunker a racist is writing on the wall . . . . . . (You pick the lie this time)

This is what happens when police get immunity from prosecution by simply saying “I feared for my life.” 5 bullets in Breonna Taylor asleep in her bed in her apartment. Wrong address and the guilty are still walking around free. A case of sleeping while black.

The cases we know of. The true total is certainly much higher.

We will never correct this problem until we acknowledge the basic problem – which is our law enforcement agencies attract a certain “type” of individual, known as the “alpha male”which is in love with the idea of power over others, being able to wield a weapon with virtual impunity and, golly gee, get to wear an awesome uniform while doing it!

The “racism” is simply a magnified sense of superiority along with the bigotry extant in the home of the child growing up – its not “white supremacy”, exactly; it’s “schoolyard bully” magnified enormously.

Our enforcement agencies attract all manner of individuals – most are of sterling character and dedicated to making our communities a better, safer place. But those “alphas” I mentioned can bring rot to entire departments and destroy entire agencies almost singlehandedly.
