“Hurry upand DO something!” “What should we do?” “I don’t know. SOMETHING!’ “Ok, I want to study the situation and come up with a plan forward and an exit strategy.” “WHAT? Why are you so indecisive? You’re a coward! You can’t lead.” “um, But the Joint Chiefs agree with a deliberate approach, and the UN Security Council is in agreement…” “Who cares about those guys? Either lead or get out of the way! DO SOMETHING!!!”

I can agree with the above comments. Still begs the question - “What happens next?”

Air superiority is obtained- time for the U.S. to back down and leave it to any other idiots willing to step up. We’ve fulfilled our Treaty obligation.

^The run up to Iraq was spent in lying to Congress, the U.N., the media, and the public justifying the invasion.

The “coalition of the willing” was more accurately the coalition of the gullible and desperate who accepted bribes to sign on as coalition members for purposes of optics.

The process followed is materially no different than dozens of other military operations including Vietnam and Korea. In fact the last time Congress formally declared war was WW2.

The Libyan coalition includes U.K., France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Denmark, Belgium, Norway, Ukraine, some Arab countries, and others. How effective will be the coalition? Yet to be determined. Obviously removing a crazy dictator with oil wealth is messy business.
