Well…this is timely. I know it’s only a comic, but I’d hope Herb can put it into words that standard white guy (honestly, does that character have a name?) will understand and GET.
James Cordon from Late Night did an excellent skit on this. One of his writers explained White Privilege to him in a positive way. He felt guilty about the fact that he had this “privilege” but she told him it was good because he could use it to promote change! I wish our Diversity Training included that concept because it’s powerful and empowering.
