GASOLINE ALLEY: were “hallucinations” one of the side-effects that Gertie read on his new medications?

MARK TRAIL: Andy looks to be sleeping, surely he has a collar and is chipped.

Gasoline Alley – When Gertie comes out, they will have flown away leading Gertie to think he’s hallucinating. Or he may actually be hallucinating, leading to a story about overmedicating the elderly. that sounds like a problem for Rex Morgan. A comment on GA suggested that this could be a way for Walt to slip away. Which theory is correct?

Mark Trail – In this day and age, you would think he would have a dog tag and/or a chip, but that would make for a very short story. Living out in Lost Forest, they may not be subject to licensing laws.

Gaturro – My translator didn’t translate dulcinea. My guess would be that it is related to softness or sweetness. Neither describes Agatha.

Judge Parker – Ronnie seems to understand Neddie very well and can offer wise words.

Phantom – He seems really spooked by the forest which is new for him.

Mary Worth – I predict that, by Sunday, we may possibly, in the last panel, get a hint of a new story, or not.

G: Putting Dulcinea in google finds: Dulcinea del Toboso is a fictional character who is unseen in Miguel de Cervantes’ novel Don Quijote. Don Quijote believes he must have a lady, under the mistaken view that chivalry requires it. As he does not have one, he invents her, making her the very model of female perfection. Dulcinea is based on the Spanish word dulce (sweet), and suggests an overly elegant “sweetness”. To this day, a reference to someone as one’s “Dulcinea” implies idealistic devotion and love for her. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dulcinea_del_Toboso

In the last panel, G says “mi Dulcinea”.
