My brother was 6’4" to my 5’4". I used to be jealous of this – tall people run in my family, both sides, with very few exceptions.
Then my tall, athletic, no-common-sense brother got injured and had to move in with mama and me. It took YEARS to get him on disability (thank you so much, FL ), so we fed him, of course.
Grocery expenses QUADRUPLED! Turns out that being tall burns calories in and of itself. LOTS of calories!
Then there was the occasional replacement clothing – they really stick it to tall people. And shoes! Size 16s don’t come cheap, and aren’t particularly easy to find, either.
I stopped being jealous very quickly.
Seriously, appreciate the tall ones, they have a pretty hard row to hoe, too.
