No slight to Berlin (a fine song writer), but I’d rather have Frost. That way, you get both Fire and Ice!

Don’t care much for poetry, but Robert Frost had some pretty good works and “Fire and Ice” is one of the best.

Some say the world will end in fire,

    Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

    Is also great

    And would suffice.

God is in fact a great kidder, but with an unfortunately juvenile sense of humor.

Frazz18 hrs · Ohhhhh, boy. I really didn’t anticipate the times this one would run in when I drew it up. I nailed one thing, though: This is no joke.Be smart, everyone. Be safe. Please. Really. Be smarter and more disciplined than you’ve ever been. Don’t even try to convince yourself that the rules can be bent for your special self or circumstances. The writer James Clear makes the argument that every action you take is a vote, and the election is for your future self. I love that. I try to live by it. And I’ll raise him one, just for these circumstances. Right now, every action you take is a vote for how soon this thing ends. And not only is it a vote for your future self, it’s a vote for somebody else’s future, period. And quite possibly someone you know. This is how contagion works. No joke.
