When we were kids we used to compliment mom with, “gee, mom, that was nearly as good as the food at school.” In jest, of course. We didn’t have a death wish.
Wife is baking cookies at this moment. She cooks and bakes when stressed. One of the only good things I can take from all this current crappy situation other than that the family seems to be in good health. Hope everyone is keeping safe.
