Always tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may. It’s very difficult at times.. but, plead your case for a loved one or whatever if you have to.. but tell the truth.
Excuses I’ve actually heard. My feelings are not capable of being hurt, the stolen car was recovered, and funds are available to ease the costs to the court.
