IMO, Bloomberg actually wants to get the Dem nomination to pull the Dems even further to the right than they already are. He hates Trump and the Repubs have now turned into TRUMPUBLICANS. Bloomberg would like to transform the Dems into the new Repubs party and stop the progressive movement. Note the people who are heavily backing Bloomberg, most don’t want the top tax taxes to increase.
“Money = Speech” – Supreme Court of the United States (2010), Citizens United v Federal Elections Commission.
(Yes, I know that the decision involved corporation and PAC’s, but the principle is the same. I am also a believer in campaign spending caps, which would mean that just because you have enough money to self fund, you would not be able to do it without limit.)
Uh huh. Guess we’ll see after the Nevada debate and primary if Bloomberg can continue to use his money and corporate media network to smear Bernie out of the front runner position.
It’s disappointing to see so many cartoonists – whom I otherwise respect, focus on the fact that he has money to pay for his ads himself…they all have money to pay for ads, but, where some of them get it is more important than their purported “message”. Isn’t it better not to be beholden to some of the special interests so many politicians are shilling for?
Start here and now. Do not support Bloomberg in the primaries until he takes step to disinvest himself of his business holdings. I will not support him and hold him to a different standard than tRump. I’m sure he is far more capable of separating himself from business dealings in an ethical manner, but the emolument clause is clear and concise. Our presidents must be immune from conflicts of interest.
Liz Warren should be ashamed equating Bloomberg with BLOATUS. Bloomberg earned his money, and has put it into causes Bonespurs is trying to destroy. His input went a long way in helping Dems “Flip” the house. Multi-millionaires like The Bern and Warren criticizing someone who has money plays into tRUMPS tiny hands. Good luck

We’ll see how he does in the primaries. I’ve seen a lot of his ads, but they failed to convince me to vote for him.

Going by his performance in the debate last night, HE is the one getting bulldozed and Bernie is doing the driving.

After his debate performance, I’m hoping Mike is toast.
