I’ve always wondered: if February is Black History Month and mid-September/mid-October is Hispanic Heritage Month, what is March when it comes to heritage? I’d say certainly not Irish.
Well, I am giving a lecture on slavery in New York today, so we’re squeezing in one extra event at least.
They sell reprints of the Traveler’s Green Book. It’s a sobering reminder of how things were in the not so distant past.
