… because Ziggy used to be such a wonderfully inspirational character that I loved for so many many years. I guess I just keep waiting for him to return.
There are constant repeats,.. usually the lamest, that are an insult to the reader(fan) AND publisher. His pets have all been made nasty where they used to be all the love each other had within Ziggy’s world. Even the readers have turned on the animals by constantly wishing them harm.
But I’ll keep waiting whether you like it or not Calvin.
Hint: Stop reading the comments since they apparently bother you.
BTW, thanks for the insult. It was very deep.
Odd (to me) that Relevart considers today’s Ziggy to be different from the way the panel used to be. I actually find this firmly within the whimsy (“firmly” and “whimsy”–how’s that for an oxymoron?) that I have loved about Ziggy for years.
today is ok but,
… just look to the 70’s 80’s and even early 90’s in comics, books, cards etc. and perhaps you will see the contrasts.
Maybe I am just wrong.
I ‘grew up’ with Ziggy as I (and whole family) have loved him since I was a little kid. Still do but, he just seems kind of “phoned in” alot in recent years. He & his crew used to consistently offer people comfort and insight with remarkably humbled charm and wit. I miss that.
Certainly didn’t mean to bring anybody down. So sorry.

Something I always see: “This page intentionally left blank” in the middle of a blank page.

Could you please repeat that?

Eschew obfuscation.

Visual ART - It looks like the artist has put Ziggy in an ambiguous situation. Causing him to be uncertain and confused.
Since ambiguous has more than one possible meaning, it can also be used as a comic device through a genuine intention to confuse you, as does MAGIC.

Could be.
