    I still think D B Cooper was eaten by bears once he landed, the bears hid the money in their caves except for one that was shot by hunters who pocketed the $5,900 for himself when he was headed down to the honey store in the local village. The true story never got out.

    You have to wear goggles to protect your eyes, and ear protection is helpful too. Think wind resistance, all that (usually cold) rushing air as you plummet to earth.

    They found some of the money back; the rest remains unfound, together with D.B. Cooper (or his remains) to this day.
