    I talked to a coworker who told me that she’s not following this impeachment thing, she doesn’t believe any media outlet is unbiased (but reads mostly Fox News), doesn’t want to spend the time actually watching the trial, but want’s to stay up to date with what’s happening.

    She stated that “we will have the trial, and if the President is found guilty, then he should be removed from office” but will be happy to believe him innocent if the Senate declines to remove him.

    I despair.

    Understand that that really is the defense Trump and his cabal will be using in the Senate trial!

    They can’t really refute the impeachment charges, so they’ll simply say that what Donnie John did wasn’t a crime (and that EVERY politician can accept help from foreign sources in their quest for political office – at least, if that politician is a REPUBLICAN – the democrats had better not try such underhanded tactics, however!)
