Today is the day that comes once every four years. Happy Leap Day!
WCAX 3 our local news station has a weekly feature on the news program called Super Seniors, this week a young gentleman of 100yrs was featured who’s had only 25 birthdays as he was born on February 29, 1920. Wery interestinc.
That snow sure hates to give up, it’s sill spitting snow this morning. It shouldn’t keep me away from the grocery store. Have I mentioned I love my Jeep? (^.^)
Packing day! Well, most of it anyway. There are always a few odds and ends that get done at the last minute before you leave. I have a list!
We did manage to get the Thousand Trails paperwork done yesterday. Everything is signed, emailed, snail mailed and FINISHED. We no longer own a camping membership. I just hope that we managed to dot every i and cross every t. (One of the pages listed the mailing address of the buyer. It’s the same as the one on my Florida driver’s license except for the space number. There’s an organization called Escapees that provides a permanent “home” address in Florida for their members so that they can travel and have mail delivered to one place and then forwarded as needed. We were members too when we “moved” to Florida. Small world, I guess.)
The weather is holding at “nice”. I hope it stays that way for our drive tomorrow. With rest stops and lunch we figure around 8 hours on the road, something over 300 miles.
I’m off to get my nails done this morning so TTFN.
