no sé qué es “poroto”, pero la vida divorciada es difícil para algunos y fácil para otros (no soy casado, entonces no sabría)

GATURRO: What is Agatha saying in the last panel? (ghost train? bean?)

GASOLINE ALLEY: Oh, oh. There’s an unexpected twist in the Balleen/T-Bone Valentine story…!

CRANKSHAFT: I think the Max and the very-pregnant Hannah want to close their theater, The Valentine, because of the snow storm. But Ed and Mary came to see the movie. Is there a “snowed in” delivery in the offing (likely to happen)?

PHANTOM: I have enjoyed this story. Is this the denouement…or is it going to continue on?

JUDGE PARKER: Are Neddy and Ronnie holding their breath as they wait to hear the “really exciting” part of the movie deal?!!

ALLEY OOP – This one made me mad! In panel 3, Joey has Ooola implying that the world would be better off if the US had never been! I didn’t know that Joey was an un-American socialist! I’ll say to her what I said back in the 60s! If you hate this country so much, go to Russia to live!
