Had to look that up. Tex Avery created a lot of animated cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny , Daffy Duck and Porky Pig and many others. So they were watching Warner Bros. Cartoons. The best cartoons ever. Makes sense now. Also Tex Avery was also a descendent of Judge Roy Bean—interesting guy.
