In retrospect, I hate to think about the unpopular kids in class when I was growing up – they always got the cartoon skunk cards…
I remember, in the 50’s, we would pass out Valentine cards to all our classmates so no one would feel left out. We made cute little boxes to take them home. Our teacher would pass out candy. (This was before so many kids were allergic to so much.)
