One thing I love about Cleats is that it didn’t make Jack and Abby into love interests. They could have, but Mr. Hinds never fell into the temptation. They remain friends through and through. Not only does their sibling-like dynamic feel fresh, but it helps develop Abby more as a character. Proving that not every animated series needs to have an official or implied romance between the lead characters. Looking at you, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.
