Adult player: The coaches for these younger kids get a good workout running up and down the field while trying to coach and referee the game. It's especially strenuous when their child is in the game.
As far as the last panel goes, all I can say is this: Bless her little heart. And maybe Mom should let her get in another year or two before putting her in sports.
Back when one of my gran-daughters played, the other team complained because her mom was standing behind the goal talking to her to keep her from getting bored since typically 6’s spent 99% of the game at midfield
