FOX and CNN are only opposites in the sense that FOX is almost completely ideological opinion (way, way too often presented not as opinion, though, but as actual reporting — there are only a few minutes of objective news reporting per hour of programming).
CNN, on the other hand, includes opinion pieces from both conservative and liberal perspective (it undeniably is more to the left of center than absolute center from the editorial standpoint, and does not pretend otherwise — unlike ‘Fair and Balanced’ FOX) mixed in with predominantly objective straight news reporting.
