MARY WORTH: Oh, wow! Iris’ recent feelings of being tired…and now her pants don’t fit…could she be pregnant? If so, we’re about to find out what kind of a guy Zak really is…will he turn out to be better or worse than expected?
MORE RE MARY (& Iris/Zak/Wilbur): The Comics Curmudgeon wonders how Wilbur will react, and whether this will this finally bring his fixation on Iris to an end (or drive him further into the deep end). My supposition is a little different…my thinking goes that Zak was the cool—i.e., saying all the right things guy—at the dinner, while Wilbur was a pathetic mess. But, IF Iris is pregnant, which guy will put a ring on Iris’s finger and say the “for better or worse” words in front of a preacher? It is possible that it might not be Mr. Cool.
