    I had a multiple choice quiz in history once where the same question had accidentally been printed twice. One of my classmates suggested (during the short discussion that followed someone noticing this) that we should answer them differently, giving us more of a chance of getting one right..I pointed out that, doing it that way you’re not guaranteed to get one right, but you are guaranteed to get one wrong. Double or nothing is better in that situation, in my opinion (unless you really are completely guessing).
