Linus holds an ice cream cone and says, "I should have told her to go jump in the lake!"<BR><BR> Linus walks and says, "Sometimes she really bugs me."<BR><BR> Linus walks up to Charlie Brown and says, "I just lost another arguement with my sister . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "That's because you always let her get away with using meaningless generalities . . . The next time you argue with her, make her define her terms . . ."<BR><BR> Linus walks with Charlie Brown and says, "That's a good idea."<BR><BR> Lucy walks up to Charlie Brown and Linus and says, "Eating ice cream again, I see . . . You're going to get fat!"<BR><BR> Linus says, "Fat? I'm not fat!" Lucy says, "Of course, you're fat . . . Look at that stomach!"<BR><BR> Linus says, "Define 'Stomach'!"<BR><BR>

And as it is, Linus has Lucy define the wrong term—FAT is what he should make her define—“So why exactly do I qualify as fat, Lucy, even if I do like to treat myself to ice cream,once in a while?”

I should do that with people, whom I end up losing pointless arguments with, and who really get on my nerves, have them tell me the definition of what they tell me, at least the way THEY mean it to be, at the moment. This cartoon could well have had THAT very important moral, for each and every one of us.
