I’m curious how do different cartoonists like Varvel and Stiglich make similar cartoons. Are they being fed their lines and tasks from a common source?

I prefer “war stories” over outright lies and deceit any day.

If Trump said this, it would be gospel.

I get a kick out of all of you dems who come to this comic daily. You must enjoy Varvel’s strip or you wouldn’t be here.

I’m sensing a bit of cognitive dissonance here.

The Tangerine Palpatine (kudos, Masterskrin!) made the deliberate decision to fake a medical condition and avoid military service to his nation; he recently said he deserves the Medal of Honor, which is patent embarassment and dishonor to those previously awarded one. Mr. Biden trying to embellish the war record of a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan is ridiculous but nowhere as egregious.

Uncle Joe’s war stories are like fishing tales.. stretched.. But, so what.. they pale in comparison to trump statements.. which are presidential policies.. vague and conflicting and the White House has to scramble to interpret.

I don’t want to hear about Biden’s “gaffes” from any follower of Captain Dementia.

The last time I heard a whooper this big was “I didn’t have sex with that woman”, I believe that guy was a Democrat, also.

Reductio ad absurdum. Trumps supporters fall for this every time. If you don’t think for your self, they will do it for you.

I generally expect Repub cartoonists will give their biased slant on things. But, really, going on and on about Joe’s missed details of his long life in public service is no comparison to Don’s continual lies upon lies from the WH.

Most Repubs didn’t want to see Don catch the golden ring in ‘16, but once he succeeded, they formed up in lockstep with their fuhrer showing once again how truly lacking in a moral center they really have. This despite years of touting their morality for protecting the unborn, and pushing fiscal responsibility. When they were swept into power, fiscal responsibility be damned, it’s time for another tax rollback for the super rich.

It’s astonishing that anyone would have the time or attention to notice the odd counterfactual coming from any politician’s lips, amid the torrent of stupid and wrong things emanating from the Vulgar Talking Yam.

Come to think of it, that’s on top of the fact that most of the things that Moscow Mitch and Lindsay-Doody say are at best half-truths. See: just about everything that McTurtle had to say about refusing to allow Merrick Garland get even a committee hearing. All delivered with zero affect and a deer-in-the-headlights “who, me?” fashion.

    These aren’t scoundrels, they’re mole-people.

Most of the accusations of Biden gaffs are not really gaffs they are various incidents that his political opponents twist and spin to bring him down. But the manufactured war hero story is a genuine gaff that he may not live down, which could hand the nomination to Elizabeth Warren. The American people don’t want another liar in Chief, they are looking for trustworthiness and integrity. Since Mother Teresa isn’t running, one of the next four candidates might be their best option.

Since Varvel and Stiglich are sharing a theme today, I’ll just re-post the same link. Neither cartoonist everr mentions the number of LIES from Trump, which is over 12,000 now.

“Some key details of an incident that happened in 2011 were wrong, but the central aspects of the story Biden told weren’t false.”

Today’s Faux Meme must be “Biden: Liar.” It’s sort of true, though the stories are more exaggerations than flat out lies, imo… but I’m inclined to cut him some slack, so maybe it’s fair. I wonder when they’ll start targeting Warren and Sanders who are now approaching parity with Biden in the polls. And what kind of distortions / lies / untruths / flatulence or misdirection they’ll choose for them.

My bet: Bernie: “Socialist” and Warren “Pocahontas”.

Gosh, it sure would be nice to hold Biden accountable for the things he says. Too bad that idiot that you voted for, Gary, got rid of the entire notion of accountability. So I guess that means you’ll just have to sit down and shut up until Individual 1 is out of office and we can all go back to being accountable for our actions.
